A large multinational industrial client acquired a company with locations throughout Florida. We visited the new sites to ensure the integrity of the data and to inventory the assets acquired. Our visit uncovered several inaccuracies in the accounts. Along with correcting these, we advocated on behalf of the client for the use of historical costs for reporting, where applicable.
